While things like a secure relationship status and getting a good night’s sleep are not something I can count on daily, one thing that’s pretty much guaranteed is that celebrities will launch beauty brands, no matter what. And if I’m being honest, right now, I’m not mad about it. Hitting the market in May 2024 is Bella Hadid’s new line, Ôrebella, pronounced “aura-bella.” And it’s debuting with three new fragrances unlike any of your typical perfumes. The brand is embracing the “skinification” of fragrance, meaning the scents are all formulated with skin-care ingredients with the goal of boosting hydration and leaving you smelling (and feeling) good.
The three fragrances are bi-phase formulas. Essentially, it’s a product that consists of two different visible phases or formulas. In Ôrebella’s case, the perfumes contain oil-based ingredients and water-based ingredients. This means the perfume bottle needs to be shaken prior to application to merge the two.

What I Like About Ôrebella by Bella Hadid
Window2Soul ($100): The brand describes Window2Soul as a “sheer floral scent featuring a faceted rise and jasmine bouquet, with accents of fresh lemon to bring out the green naturally, contrasted with addictive tonka bean.” This is the one I would suggest if you’re a fan of very sweet florals. Personally, I think it smells like a daytime scent.
Salted Muse ($100): This fragrance is described as a “woody marine featuring a vibrant introduction of sea salt and pink pepper with an olive tree accord plus a lavender twist at heart, finished with woods and crisp amber.” I would opt for this scent if you like crisp fragrances with a bit of a sharper edge. This one was probably my favorite, and I found it easy to wear for both day and night.
Blooming Fire ($100): Lastely, Blooming Fire is a “transportive tropical oasis of Tahitian monoi flower and exotic patchouli, elevated with radiant bergamot.” This one was my least favorite of the bunch, probably because I’m not a huge fan of patchouli. However, I did get quite a few compliments the day I took it for a test drive outside of my house.
The packaging on all three perfumes is a 10/10 — each bottle is made to look like a geode with a gold top. However, I do find it mildly annoying that the fragrances can only be stored lying down due to their shape. Luckily, they almost look like something you’d buy as a piece of decor, so they look good sitting on my counter. I also like that the formula is alcohol-free and infused with skin-care ingredients.
How to Use Ôrebella by Bella Hadid
Fragrances are pretty cut and dry: you typically spritz and go. However, these are a little different as they need to be shaken prior to use. From there, you’re meant to spray them directly onto your skin in order to reap the skin-care benefits.
I like to spray my perfumes on the insides of my wrists, behind my neck, and sometimes on my chest. I typically spray them onto my hair as well, but seeing as this product is made specifically for the skin, I skipped that part. These are a little heavier texture-wise than your typical perfume (they feel more like a skin-care product than a fragrance), so once I spritz them, I like to rub the product in using the inside of my wrist.
What to Consider Before Trying Ôrebella by Bella Hadid
It’s worth noting that these fragrances aren’t like your typical perfume. The mist isn’t as fine, so it’s important to spray them directly onto your body to fully experience the scent. In my experience, these didn’t work well for spraying into the air and walking through them.
Where Is Ôrebella by Bella Hadid Available
Ôrebella by Bella Hadid launches on May 2 and will be available for purchase directly on the brand’s website. On May 10, the collection will be available at Ulta Beauty.
