It’s become one of Australia’s most popular reality TV shows.

And fans are scrambling to stay at an elegant boutique hotel featured on Channel Seven‘s Farmer Wants A Wife.

The Convent, situated in NSW‘s stunning Hunter Valley, is used on the series for ceremonies and eliminations.

Located in Polkobin and set on the expansive Pepper Tree Winery complex, the lavish spread originally hosted the Brigidine order of nuns.

It’s now luxury accommodation, with the hotel boasting a ‘combination of romantic European charm with the lavish style of the Hamptons’.

Features include two grand dining options, Circa 1876 and Restaurant Eighty Eight. 

There’s also a private tennis court, a pool and a boules lawn.

Fans can spoil themselves with the Garden Suite, which is available for a hefty $379 a night. 

The room features garden views and boasts a king size bed, en suite and private lounge. 

The Deluxe Room is another highlight. Starting at $229 a night, it has a distinctive European flavour and features French doors which open out onto a verandah. 

Meanwhile, shocking twist has been revealed involving the cast of this year’s Farmer Wants A Wife.

Sunday’s premiere, hosted by Samantha Armytage, introduced viewers to Farmers Tom, Bert, Joe, Dustin and Dean, who are all looking for love.

However, a roster of eight bachelor farmers were originally considered for the popular Channel Seven dating show and only five made the cut.

A source recently told New Idea this is the ‘typical format of the show’, with more farmers announced in pre-production than the number that goes to air.

One of the dumped bachelors, South Australian cattle and crop farmer Zac, opened up about being canned from the show to Greater SA last month, saying ‘some things just aren’t meant to be.’ 

Set across farms in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, the 2024 season of the hit reality show features five strapping young farmers looking for love.

Sunday’s episode saw Farmers Bert, Dustin, and Dean embark on a whirlwind of speed-dating to pick their chosen girls.
