NOFX is calling it quits.
Theyâre not exactly going out quietly into that good night, though.
From late June up until early October, the punk legends will wrap up their âFinal Tourâ at venues all over North America where theyâll be joined by a slew of special guests like Dropkick Murphys, Descendents, Pennywise, The Vandals and Less Than Jake on select dates.
Along the way, Fat Mike and co. are slated to drop into Brooklynâs newly-opened Paramount Theatre for a trio of shows on Friday, July 12, Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.
Theyâll end their nationwide run at San Pedro, CAâs Outer Harbor Berth 46 on Oct. 4-6.
âWeâve played over 2,000 shows in 33 countries, in more than 300 cities and darn itâŠweâre a bit tired,â Mike Burkett aka Fat Mike said about the bandâs final tour. âOne thing I know in my heartâŠthis is going to be the most emotional, heartbreaking, greatest tour of our career. Iâve never been so excited and at the same time terrified. Mostly excitedâŠâ
At most cities on the run, the punk icons will stage mini multi-night residencies. For those that plan on attending back-to-back gigs (or in some cases, back-to-back-to-back), the band shared that each night will boast different set lists made up of hits, full-album performances and rarities.
âWe are gonna play with all our heartsâŠWith all our joyâŠAnd then we are done. We are done done,â Fat Mike added.

NOFX new music
On April 19, NOFX dropped the five-song EP âHalf Album.â
Clocking in at a hair under 15 minutes, the mini-album gets underway with the tongue-in-cheek ballad âFake-a-Wish Foundationâ about a friend who pretended to have brain cancer.
After that, the quartet launches into straightforward, no-frills punk. The second track, âIâm A Rat,â is a non-stop, guitar-heavy thrill ride that will have you headbanging in no time.
Up third, they change tempos for just a minute on the oddly calming âThe Queen Is Deadâ before kicking back into high gear with their fastest, wildest track yet.
The penultimate song, âThe Humblest Man In The World,â is probably the EPâs most radio-friendly. Not too fast, not too slow. Dare we say, just right?
Finally, the âHalf Albumâ comes to a close with the slow burn of âThe Last Drag.â Itâs a fitting end to the short record â a mournful preamble, an uplifting middle with the unforgettable refrain âthis is my detox and Iâll cry if I want toâ and an anthemic heavy close. Itâs a rock opera in and of itself.
