Hopefully Hoda Kotb is into cowboys.
The “Today” host, 59, found out on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Tuesday that fans are “shipping” her with Kevin Costner, 69.
“People want the two of you to be together,” Cohen, 56, told Kotb, 59.
“Wait, what?” a stunned Kotb replied.
The mother of two admitted that she’s “never, ever heard that. Not one time.”
“Well you’ve heard it now,” said Kotb’s co-anchor Savannah Guthrie.
“Are we into it?” Guthrie, 52, asked.
With a smile on her face, Kotb said, “Well, if the viewers want it…”
Cohen and Guthrie laughed at Kotb’s response.
Kotb reiterated that she’s “never heard” about how fans want her to date the former “Yellowstone” actor.
“Wow. Give the people what they want,” said Guthrie.
Fans decided to play matchmaker between the stars after Kotb interviewed Costner on “Today” last month while he was promoting his new Western movie “Horizon.”
The pair hit it off during the interview as well as in a behind-the-scenes clip of Costner showing Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager a video of his dog on his phone.
“Kevin and Hoda should date! They look cute together,” one person commented on the Instagram clip.
“Hoda!!! Kevin Costner is single. I see a little chemistry there,” another person wrote.
A third comment read, “Hoda! You + Kevin = 🔥.”
“Hoda single and Kevin single,” someone else pointed out.
Kotb was previously married to tennis coach Burzis Kanga from 2005 to 2008.
She was then in an 8-year relationship with financier Joel Schiffman starting in 2015. They got engaged in November 2019, but Kotb announced their split in January 2022.
“We decided that we’re better as friends and parents than we are as an engaged couple, so we decided we are going to start this new year … on our new path as loving parents to our adorable, delightful children, and as friends,” Kotb said on the “Today” show at the time.
The exes have continued to co-parent Kotb’s adopted daughters Haley, 7, and Hope, 4.
On “WWHL,” Kotb was asked if it’s hard to openly talk about her love life on “Today.”
“It’s easy to share when everything is great. It’s so much fun because you love love and it’s such a beautiful time in life,” she said. “And then when things don’t go the way you want them to, you sort of feel a little cornered. But I think you should also talk about that part. Sometimes people aren’t meant to go the whole ride with you.”
Costner is also single at the moment.
He was married to his college sweetheart Cindy Silva from 1978 to 1994.
His second marriage was to model and handbag designer Christine Baumgartner.
The Oscar winner and Baumgartner, 50, filed for divorce in May 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” after an 18-year marriage.
The former couple went through months of hostile court proceedings before they settled the divorce in February.
TMZ reported that a judge enforced Costner and Baumgartner’s prenup. If Baumgartner challenged it, she would have to repay Costner more than $1 million and pay his attorney’s fees.
Costner — who has seven children — alluded to the divorce in his GQ Summer 2024 cover story that was published in May.
“I’m not going to lose myself,” he said in the interview. “I’ve taken big bites out of life, life’s taken big ones out of me, right? I’m not going to lose myself because I’ve been bruised. I have been, but I’m not going to lose myself.”
Costner was romantically linked to singer Jewel, 50, after his divorce when they both traveled to a private island in the Caribbean last year.
However, both stars have vehemently shut down the rumors.
“Jewel and I are friends — we’ve never gone out. Ever,” Costner said on “The Howard Stern Show” last month.
