Julie Bishop has debuted yet another new hairstyle after experimenting with an edgier cut in recent weeks.
The former foreign minister, 67, showed off her polished new hairdo as she spoke at the launch of Elise Stephenson’s new book The Face of the Nation last week.
She opted for a glossy fringed look for the event which was slightly longer than her traditional sleek bob as she continues to try out an array of chic new looks.
Julie cut a stylish figure in a black turtleneck midi dress as she took to the stage for a discussion about gender equality in international affairs.
Her sleek new look comes after she has been rocking a choppier fringed hairstyle in recent weeks as she opted for a change up from her signature look.

It comes after Julie has been changing up her style in recent weeks, trying out an array of longer haircuts
However, she was cruelly hit by criticism over her striking look, but Julie didn’t shy away from clapping back at the unkind comments with her usual sense of humour.
‘Not so sure about the hairdo Julie,’ one person commented on her Instagram post, but she simply replied with a shrugging emoji as she appeared unbothered.
Another called her look ‘dishevelled’, but a quick-witted Julie hit back, writing: ‘I love change so I’ll change it again sometime!’ followed by a laughing face emoji and clapping hands.
Elsewhere, it was recently revealed that Julie is dating Perth motorcycle rider Stephen Gray, with the couple appearing to have been together for several months.

Julie first shared photographs with Stephen to her Instagram back in July 2023, but little is known about her partner.
His Facebook profile features one picture of him proudly standing behind a cafe-racer style motorcycle, clad in a black leather jacket.
He also shared photos of a yellow Ducati bike parked along the harbour as he appears to be a keen motorcycle rider.
Julie’s name and ‘partner’ Steve Gray appeared together on the guest list for the Australian Grand Prix’s Glamour on the Grid event.
