Johnny Wactor’s former fiancée broke down in tears over the “General Hospital” actor’s death, slamming the gunmen who took his life and saying they “shot the wrong guy.”
His distraught ex, Tessa Farrell, made a desperate appeal to the criminals, who have been at large since the shooting early Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles.
“If the person who did this, if you’re watching, I’m sorry, but you shot the wrong guy,” Farrell said through tears. “You can get a real job. I know the job market’s hard but we’re all in it together. You don’t have to steal — especially take a life over it.”
Farrell then made an emotional plea for changes to be made “as a community,” regarding rising crime.
Wactor, 37, was shot dead while shielding a female co-worker from three armed robbers who shot him dead for his car’s catalytic converter.
He spent several years playing Brando Corbin in the long-running soap opera.
