Considerably like his “Full House” character, Dave Coulier is complete of jokes.
Throughout a recent episode of his podcast, “Full Property Rewind,” the actor explained how his character’s last identify, Gladstone, was born.
“I got to pick my individual past title. Did you know that? My character’s very last title,” he explained to guest Debra Stipe, who appeared in 3 episodes of “Full House” as Cindy.
“Yeah, (collection creator) Jeff [Franklin] mentioned, ‘I’m seeking to get a past name for your character,’ and I stated, ‘How about Gladstone?’ and he laughed and goes, ‘All appropriate, appears great.’”
“What was it about Gladstone?” Stipe asked.
“Was there a that means at the rear of it?”
“I normally imagined it was a amusing title,” Coulier responded.
“It was just about like, ‘I’m glad that I’m stoned.’ You know, I’m a comedian, so that was what I imagined. And so Jeff laughed, and that was it.”
In 2022, Coulier took to Instagram to rejoice two years of sobriety with a throwback photograph of himself bruised and bloodied, the outcome of a drunken night time.
“I was a drunk. Sure. An alcoholic,” Coulier began a prolonged image caption for the selfie.
“I’ve been liquor-cost-free since January 1, 2020.
“I beloved booze,” Coulier admitted, “but it did not love me again.”

When the show grew in popularity as it aired, its initially season wasn’t effectively-gained by critics.
