C.J. Snare, the direct singer of the 80s hair steel band FireHouse — powering hits like “Don’t Handle Me Bad” and “Love of a Lifetime” — died unexpectedly Friday. He was 64.
The band mourned Snare’s passing as a “sad working day for Rock N Roll” in a assertion on Fb Sunday.
“It is with good sorrow we are permitting the entire world know we have lost our brother: CJ Snare, the rock and roll warrior, lead vocalist, and a founding member of Firehouse,” it read through. “CJ Snare handed unexpectedly at house Friday night, April 5, 2024.
