Donald Glover swears the “Community” movie will see the light-weight of day.
“It’s taking place but I do not know when. I swear, it is taking place,” Glover, 40, told Deadline on Might 10.
The actor, producer and rapper also promised that he’s not to blame for the film’s generation using more time than anticipated.
“Everybody is hating on me on the world-wide-web and it is not me!” he claimed. “They’re like, ‘We know that you’re the purpose.’ Possibly I was final calendar year — it’s possible — but not this time.”
Glover performed school student Troy Barnes on “Community,” which followed a mismatched group of individuals at a neighborhood college or university.

“I heard a rumor, Joel McHale suggests we’re filming it this summer season, so fingers crossed,” she said in an job interview with AP Enjoyment. “He stated it 1st and I’m just reiterating. But I hope so. I hope that we do it this summer months. I’m truly psyched.”
First cast member Chevy Chase is not expected to be in the motion picture.
Chase, 80, appeared as wealthy person Pierce Hawthorne for four seasons and was fired in 2012 after his alleged misbehavior on established.
Glover claimed to the New Yorker in 2018 that Chase identified as him the “N-word” and was racist towards him. In response, Chase advised the outlet: “I am saddened to listen to that Donald perceived me in that gentle.”
In April, McHale, 52, solely advised The Write-up that he doesn’t consider Chase “is allowed” to return for the movie.
“I really don’t assume it would occur,” McHale stated. “I’m guessing if you requested him, he wouldn’t be interested.”
