David Walliams looks unrecognisable as he dresses up in a string of hilarious outfits including Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz at the Mediterrane Film Festival Awards
He’s known for cracking jokes and entertaining a crowd.
And David Walliams did just that as he injected his trademark humour into the Mediterrane Film Festival Awards Ceremony.
Not one to shy away from dressing up, the funny man, who served as the host for the awards, made sure all eyes were on him as he took to the stage.
In images from his hilarious skits the comedian, 51, looked unrecognisable as he dressed as a golden bee and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz in a bid to kick off the first year of the prestigious awards with a bang.
Transforming into a bee, the comedian sported some gold, brown and black tights, a gold sparkly cape with a fur trim and a gold crown.

The media personality went one step further as he sported a pair of gold pointed gloves that featured brown fur and rounded off his look with a pair of black boots gold laces.
He could be seen dangling from the ceiling, presumably pretending to fly like the buzzing insect.
Dorothy served as inspiration for the actor’s next look, as he wore a blue checked pinafore dress with a white trim, tied in with a pigtail wig and added a bit of glamour with a red lip.
The Little Britain star complemented the look with a wicker basket, some navy-blue long socks and the characters famous red slippers.
It was a far cry from his appearance on the red carpet where he dressed to impressed in a smart black suit, which he teamed with a white shirt and bow tie.
The former Britain’s Got Talent judge finished off his sharp look with some black lace up shoes.
David’s appearance comes after his ex-wife Lara Stone was spotted showcasing a blossoming baby bump with her property developer husband David Grievson.
Lara is also proud mum to Alfred, 10, who she shares with Walliams.
All in: The entertainer made sure he looked the part as he sported a pair of gold pointed gloves, some tights, a fur cape and some black boots with gold laces.

The pair started dating in 2009 and announced their engagement just four months later.
The Mediterrane Film Festival is a six-day-long celebration of film featuring acclaimed actors, producers, industry creatives, and more from Valetta, the capital of Malta.
According to the website, the week will be filled with workshops, conferences and screenings for all creatives who attend.
Performances by The X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson will also take place.
