It comes after David showed his support for eldest son Brooklyn Beckham after the budding chef came under fire for his latest cooking video.
The former photographer risked the wrath of his followers once again with another ‘out of touch’ video as he promoted a collaboration with Chosen Foods avocado oil, which retails from between $15 and $20.
Introducing the video, Brooklyn, 24, explained to his fans that he would be making some fried chicken by shallow frying it using the brand’s ‘100 per cent avocado’ oil.
He hared a clip of how to create the fried chicken, but fans took issue with the oil he chose to use.
Despite claims of the oil’s ‘high smoke point and neutral flavor’, Brooklyn’s followers claimed that he was using a ‘huge amount’ of the expensive product for the recipe.
Brooklyn, who has previously come under fire for his ostentatious ingredients including truffle and a £60 rib of beef, was once again being ribbed for his choices.
His critics argued that Brooklyn could have promoted the product using a far more cost effective recipe, rather than using ‘the whole bottle’ on two pieces of chicken.
David was quick to show his support, however, sharing the video on his Stories and penning: ‘Love some fried chicken bust.’
In January, the budding cook was slammed as ‘out of touch’ as he used pricey ingredient truffle to whip up a tagliatelle in his latest cookery tutorial.
He has been trying his utmost to launch a cooking career and often takes to social media to show off his food creations.
And the budding chef took to Instagram to share his cookery tutorial video, which saw him make a creamy truffle tagliatelle.

However, he was again slammed by his fans as ‘out of touch’ as they blasted him for using luxury ingredient truffle during a cost-of-living crisis.
In the video, Brooklyn also appeared to take inspiration from his father with his top, as he sported a red England number seven shirt, which David himself inherited.
In an accompanying caption, he gushed over his love of truffle, which he used generously to make the dish, writing: ‘In my kitchen no such thing as too much truffle.’
But he was blasted by social media users for using the lavish ingredient, who claimed that it was ‘out of touch’ to do so amid a cost-of-living crisis.
