Merrily they rolled together … down the aisle.
Lindsay Mendez cast her Broadway co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Jonathan Groff as ring bearer and officiant, respectively, in her New York Metropolis nuptials to fellow actor J. Alex Brinson.
Her 3-12 months-old daughter, Lucy, from her relationship to Philip Wakefield, also performed a big section in the intimate Central Park ceremony: She stood by her mom’s aspect as the flower girl.
The couple satisfied although starring along with each and every other in OWN’s “All Rise” and have been engaged on Christmas Working day previous calendar year. Mendez, 41, and Brinson, 38, tied the knot a thirty day period soon after announcing she is expecting their 1st kid with each other.
And it’s not just the “Harry Potter” star, 34, and the theater vet, 39, who are supporting her important milestones.
In her Instagram put up revealing the pregnancy, Mendez wrote that she is “so grateful for the unrelenting assist of my @merrilyonbway producers and organization.”
She included: “Together, they have created it so that I can happily do the job safely, all whilst developing this real Broadway little one.”
Radcliffe’s and Groff’s involvement in the partnership won’t stop with the marriage ceremony possibly. In early April, Mendez advised Seth Meyers, “I maintain contemplating they’re gonna know Uncle Dan and Uncle Jon’s voices, they are gonna know a [Stephen] Sondheim rating when they arrive out of the womb. It’s really great.”
The trio’s closeness started in November 2022 when an off-Broadway revival of “Merrily We Roll Along” ran at New York Theatre Workshop. Just after transferring to Hudson Theatre on Broadway previous September, the show was so productive that it was extended.
