Cyndi Lauper‘s son has been recently seen berating someone on the phone after being chauffeured to the pharmacy from his $7,000 apartment.
Declyn ‘Dex’ Lauper, 26, who has been the center of attention recently for his troubled behavior and legal disputes, was spotted outside New Drug Loft Pharmacy on 2nd Avenue on the Upper East Side in New York City.
The son of the famous singer was seen pacing back and forth in front of the store having what seemed like a heated discussion on the phone with an unidentified individual.
He was sporting a baby blue tee and blue varsity logo jeans from the luxury brand Amiri and white Nike Airforce 1 shoes.
Those same Amiri jeans have made a reappearance since their debut when he attended a hearing at the Manhattan Supreme Court alongside his girlfriend and entourage on April 25 to face a hearing on two counts of criminal possession of a loaded firearm.

Dex was arrested on February 7 after police allegedly caught him with a gun and drugs as they were searching the area near 135 W. 112th St. where a 24-year-old man was found shot in his leg near an apartment building.
His actor father David Thornton, was previously pictured bailing their son out of jail with $20,000 in cash and he accompanied Dex to a previous hearing.
Photos from the hearing show Dex holding hands with his girlfriend and flanked by three other men as he walked into the courtroom for his hearing. Neither of his parents were present.
Prosecutor Molly Rogowski told the court she was working on a potential plea deal with his defense attorney Ian Niles and the matter was adjourned to May 15.
In February, he was allegedly found with a loaded gun and drugs in February after police canvassed an area in Harlem following a shooting.
According to the criminal complaint, Dex was found with a fanny pack that contained a Glock with seven bullets in its magazine.

The complaint said he possessed the weapon ‘with intent to use it unlawfully against another.’
It comes as he is facing eviction from his luxury Manhattan apartment, after neighbors complained about loud music, late night screaming and marijuana odors.
His landlord has filed an eviction petition to have the 26-year-old removed from his $7,200-a-month apartment.
Dex has been accused of violating lease rules in the apartment building in the Financial District since he moved in last October.
According to filings, neighbors were having to deal with ‘thumping music on a nightly basis’, and loud yelling, shouting, screaming coming from the apartment.
In February, one resident living below the apartment told the landlord that she was scared for her safety due to constant yelling and noise.

The resident, who was not named in the papers, complained that the loud noises from the apartment had a ‘severe and negative impact on her life’.
Others complained about the smell of marijuana emitting from the apartment, loud shouting and sounds of fighting.
Court papers say that one night he walked into the building management office with a ‘marijuana blunt and looking visually inebriated’.
The documents allege he then threatened workers over an email, saying: ‘If you don’t fix the email, I will come back with people and have everyone’s face broken.
‘I will break your legs. I have friends and an uncle that will fuck you up. Don’t play with me because I will bring someone with me and tear this whole place up.’
One former neighbor told the New York Post: ‘I never had any problems with any of the neighbors before.
‘Then a new tenant moved in and immediately there was very loud music at the most bizarre times, like 3 a.m. or 7 a.m. It felt like there was a nightclub right behind my wall.’

A source also told the outlet that a day after a tenant confronted Dex, the former neighbor found a bullet near his apartment and decided to move out.
One neighbor also told the Post: ‘I would hear the disturbing music every other day. There were plenty of times when it was 2 a.m., 3 a.m. or 4 a.m.
‘I had an important meeting one day, on a week day, but I was woken up at 3 a.m. the night before because the music was blasting.
‘I could feel the bass. I put on a robe and went to confront the guy, in a nice way, and I had to bang on the door so loud because he just couldn’t hear.
‘He tried to take the high road with me, saying ‘Oh, is this how you talk to people?’ I said, ‘Yes, at 3 a.m., I’m not going to be overly nice about it.’
‘So we had this conversation for 30 seconds. I left, and the music continued.’
He was arrested after being in possession of a stolen 2014 Mercedes Benz while at a July 14, 2022 memorial service for an aspiring rapper named Ethan Reyes, who had been fatally stabbed days before.
Dex had been arrested as he sat in the idling vehicle double parked at the cross-section of 140th Street and Broadway, the New York Post reported.
Prosecutors in the case said that Dex told police officers when he was questioned about the vehicle: ‘You probably know who I am.’
Dex entered a guilty plea to disorderly conduct with no jail time in connection with the incident.
As conditional to his plea deal, Dex was ordered by Manhattan Criminal Court to avoid any further trouble for a year’s time; and perform a community service that stretched five days. He faced up to a year in custody if convicted, according to the outlet.
Following the October 2022 court hearing, Dex was seen smoking marijuana (which is legal in New York City) with friends as he boarded an SUV parked outside of the courthouse.
In an Instagram Stories post that day, Dex posted an image of a smoke-filled vehicle with the caption, ‘Court.’

At the time, Dex, who has worked with rapper G-Eazy, told the Post that he and his famed mother had been collaborating on musical material.
‘Me and my mother have a couple of songs that we recorded,’ he told the paper at the time, adding that the end of the prior case was ‘definitely a blessing’ for him.
Lauper last year told Vanity Fair that Dex’s musical tastes tended to be ‘more underground,’ adding, ‘He’s on SoundCloud and he’s a terrific artist.’
In the chat, Lauper opened up about balancing parenting with her career.
‘People said I was so career-driven, but once the kid came, I looked at how I can support everything: Make a record, tour – and my husband would say, ‘Go to Europe, I’ve got him,” she said. ‘I took my son on tour sometimes, but he needed his own space.’
