Jimmie Allen not long ago unveiled that he contemplated suicide just after his previous supervisor sued him for sexual assault.
The place singer, 38, designed the revelation during a conversation with Kathie Lee Gifford, which was printed by using YouTube on Tuesday.
In May well 2023, Allen’s manager accused him of raping her and consistently subjecting her to sexual abuse and harassment above the study course of 18 months. She was discovered as Jane Doe in the lawsuit.
At the time, Allen said they did have an affair and a “sexual relationship” for nearly two years, but it was allegedly consensual.
“She was my working day-to-working day supervisor, so she was with me everywhere I went. We’d hook up then we’d prevent, and then when we’d stop… she’d get all unfortunate and upset, so to make her really feel better, we’d start out hooking up all over again,” he advised Gifford, 70.
He added: “I should’ve noticed that she was into me. For me, even although it was just physical, I think for her it was getting psychological.”
Allen was “confused and heartbroken” and “pissed off” when the lady submitted the lawsuit, and mentioned he “absolutely” did not want an official romantic relationship with her.
“It’s another person who’d turn out to be a friend,” he went on. “… I knew it was mistaken for the reason that I’m in a romantic relationship. That is what I’m willing to consider accountability for… For the longest time, in my head, I keep in mind pondering, ‘As prolonged as I’m delivering for my wife and my little ones, I have the independence to do no matter what I want.’ That’s not the appropriate mentality. It’s improper. I built a determination. I should’ve both stuck with it or ended it.”
Allen and his spouse, Alexis Gale, who was expecting with their 3rd boy or girl at the time, divorced in the aftermath. He is the father of son Aadyn, 9, as nicely as daughter Naomi, 4, daughter Zara, 2, and son Cohen, 5 months, with Gale. He also welcomed twins with one more female amid their divorce.
Amid the scandal, he was also suspended from his new music label BBR Tunes Group and was removed from the CMA Fest 2023 lineup.
“I was sitting down there and I virtually felt like the full entire world experienced just collapsed. ‘Cause the first point my brain goes to is not the vocation, it is ‘How am I likely to present for my children?’” he claimed of his mental state at the time.

Allen said he was “putting bullets” in his “gun clip” till his mate texted him.
“My mate Chuck texted me… He stated, ‘Ending it is not the remedy.’ … I just stopped. I recall I known as one of my buddies… He arrived up. I gave him my gun. I claimed, ‘Take it. I don’t need it,’” he recalled to Gifford. “My mother flew in, and then I started getting mobile phone calls from diverse artists examining in on me, expressing they really like me, they treatment about me, they know who I am. Then I begun receiving phone calls from folks I didn’t even anticipate. Allen “turned to medication,” but afterwards sought treatment and went to a retreat for mental overall health. The crack in the end “saved” his daily life.
