He may have seen this coming.
HGTV star Christina Hall’s (née Haack) now-estranged husband, Joshua Hall, joked about them breaking up over a year before their recent split.
In April 2023, Hall, 43, marked one year since the pair’s marriage news became public by sharing an Instagram carousel of photos of him and Christina, 41, with a funny caption.
“How long will this one last?” he wrote alongside the photos of himself with Christina.
She replied, “Better be ♾️ !!! ❤️.”
The former couple secretly got married on Oct. 6, 2021. They had a bigger oceanfront ceremony in Maui, Hawaii, during Labor Day Weekend 2022.
Fans poked fun at Hall’s Instagram after news broke Tuesday that the former police officer filed for divorce from Christina. They were married for less than three years.
“Not long according to TMZ!” one person commented in response to Hall’s caption.
“I guess your question has been answered,” another person commented, tagging Hall.
“This didn’t age well lol,” someone else said.
A fourth reply read, “Dunzo 😂😂😂.”
According to TMZ, Hall filed for a dissolution of marriage in Orange County, California. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and listed July 8 as the separation date.
Christina reportedly filed for divorce as well.
In his filing, Hall asked to be given spousal support from his wife and for the court to “eliminate” her “ability to collect from him.”
He also reportedly wants the rights to any HGTV/Discovery Network shows that he and Christina produced together during their marriage.
They both star in Haack’s shows “Christina on the Coast” and “Christina in the Country” and have another show, “The Flip Off,” coming out next year.
According to E! News, Haack in her filing asked the court not to award Hall alimony.
She also reportedly said that she’ll determine how the former couple’s assets will be divided on a later date.
Haack cited their date of separation as July 7, while Hall listed the next day.
A source told PEOPLE that the exes “had issues in the marriage for quite some time” before the divorce filings.
When Haack and Hall first got together, the “Flip or Flop” star wrote on Instagram that she wanted to protect” Hall from public scrutiny.
“I met Josh when I wasn’t in a state of fear or fight-or-flight … The synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore,” she said in July 2021.
“I felt immediately crazy protective over him and wanted to keep him for myself and get to know each other before the tornado (media attention) hit.”
This is Haack’s third divorce.
She was previously married to fellow HGTV star Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018. They share daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8.
El Moussa, 42, and his new wife, “Selling Sunset” alum Heather Rae Young, 36, are also starring with Haack and Hall in “The Flip Off.”
The Post reached out to HGTV for an update about the status of “The Flip Off.”
Haack’s second marriage was to British TV host, car builder and motor specialist Ant Anstead from 2018 to 2021. They have a son, Hudson, 4.
Anstead, 45, has been in a relationship with actress Renée Zellweger since 2021.
