Chrissie Swan has announced her new career move.
The Big Brother star is launching her own podcast called Live From The Compound, and it’s set to begin in a little over a week.
‘It’s happening! I have been working on this for 6 months! My VERY OWN PODCAST – recorded in my very own home (who ever wants to leave the house? Not moi)’ she told her fans in an Instagram post.
‘LIVE FROM THE COMPOUND launches on April 30. Two episodes a week: TUESDAY DROP: me + a rotating cast of 4 beloved and funny friends… (stay tuned for these you will love!) FRIDAY DROP: an interesting person from anywhere in the world.’
She added: ‘Topics discussed so far: fidelity to oneself, dugongs, scrunchies made of polyester hair, the Darrel Lea family story, can men and women be just friends… you get the idea! I am beside myself and am having the time of my life.’

It comes after the star celebrated a remarkable sobriety milestone last year when she revealed she has been sober for 1000 days.
The Masked Singer judge, 50, announced the incredible achievement with a lengthy post to Instagram alongside a reel of photos.
Sharing an image of herself drinking a celebratory Diet Coke, the TV star also revealed she’s been reading Quit Like A Woman by Holly Whitaker.

‘I don’t talk much about giving up the booze because it’s such a personal thing and not right for everyone,’ Chrissie began her post.
She added: ‘But on my 1000 day anniversary I know for sure it has been the right thing for me.’
‘So I’m putting this here for anyone who’s thinking that maybe drinking isn’t fun for them anymore,’ the radio host continued.
‘I love being able to drive everywhere, leave places whenever I like, and especially going to bed knowing I’ve been the most authentic version of myself.’
Chrissie went on to say that while she ‘didn’t have a massive, long standing problem’ with drinking alcohol, she felt it was right to give up the substance after COVID.
‘It was actually quite easy for me and the positives started within the first week. Mainly – relief,’ she said.
‘And the clarity and focus I needed to return to my original self and get to work, as Holly Whitaker wrote, ‘Building a life I didn’t want to escape from.’
‘I don’t miss drinking one bit and now I never even think about it.’

Chrissie went on to encourage her followers to give up drinking if they decide they ‘can’t stand the hangovers’ or are tired of embarrassing themselves while drunk.
The Nova radio star revealed in 2021 that she quit drinking alcohol following Melbourne’s harsh 112-day lockdown in 2020.
At the time, she said she was feeling better than ever following a booze-free night of karaoke with a girlfriend.
The mother-of-three also revealed her sleep had improved drastically since she stopped drinking just a few months prior.
