The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheering squad got a new addition in quarterback Baker Mayfield’s initial child.
“Baby girl joined us Tuesday night time just prior to 7:30 p.m.,” Baker’s wife, Emily Mayfield, wrote by using Instagram Story on Saturday, April 13. “She is actually everything we prayed for and more.”
Baker, 28, and Emily, 33, named their daughter Kova Jade, who was born on Tuesday, April 9 and weighed 9 kilos and 2 ounces.
“We’re enjoying life as a spouse and children of 4,” Emily additional on Saturday, referring to the few, Kova and their doggy. “Fergus is so light and curious. Daddy is so smitten and Mama wishes to pause time and make these days last eternally.”
In a 2nd Instagram Tale post, Emily shared the very first image of their infant female. In the snapshot, Baker cradled Kova in a white, fuzzy blanket when lounging on a bed. Their pup dutifully appeared on, resting a paw on Baker’s hand. A white coronary heart emoji covered Kova’s deal with.
“My heart could explode any minute, I swear,” Emily gushed above the photo. “Bake was born to be a father.”

Baker reposted the loved ones photo onto his Instagram Stories on Saturday, noting he “can’t even express the pure joy.”
Baker began dating Emily in 2017, having married two decades later on. They declared in December 2023 that they had been anticipating their very first child.
“We’ve been hiding a minimal something……..🤫👀,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post, sharing maternity photographs. “But we are THRILLED to share that newborn girl Mayfield will be becoming a member of our outrageous crew in early April 2024!”
Fellow NFL star Travis Kelce was thrilled about the couple’s addition, “Ayyyeee!! Congrats you guys,” the Kansas City Chiefs restricted close, 34, wrote through Instagram remark.
Baker and Emily’s relationship experienced formerly been at the forefront of a dishonest scandal. In February 2020, Cleveland Browns lover Kacie Dingess claimed she had a brief affair with Baker one yr before. (Baker was beforehand the QB for the Browns prior to getting traded to the Bucs.)

In accordance to Dingess, Baker allegedly blocked her on social media after she arrived forward with her allegations. Neither Baker nor Emily ever dealt with Dingess’ claims or the rumors that the NFL star experienced been unfaithful.
