Anthony ‘Harries’ Carroll revealed on Wednesday he found a ‘new lover’ after over a decade of marriage to his wife Emily.
It seems the Bondi Rescue star, 47, has traded the surf and sun for the snow as he’s fallen head over heels for New Zealand, following a very chilly holiday there.
The reality TV star, who shares sons Billy and Leo with his partner of 12 years, told Daily Mail Australia he ‘did not want to come home’ after his solo trip to the island.
‘You know what they say in Bondi? “You always find a new lover.” And my new lover is Ski-Land. New Zealand – I love it,’ he said of his getaway with Tourism New Zealand.
‘The ski fields, the hot springs, even seeing the water come off the glaciers. The colour was just amazing. Everything I did there was just amazing.’

Despite leaving Emily and their children back in Australia during his holiday, Harries said: ‘I did not want to come home… I definitely did not get home sick.’
Harries and Emily first met on a blind date back in 2012 and married shortly after.
Despite being notoriously private about his family life, Harries revealed in 2019 he felt helpless when son Leo, now six, struggled to take his first breath as a newborn.

‘When my son was born, he wasn’t breathing well,’ the lifeguard told The Daily Telegraph at the time.
When wife Emily gave birth to the baby boy by cesarean in August 2016, doctors noticed the youngster wasn’t breathing properly.
‘Before we could even hold him the doctors swooped in and started working on him… It felt like my heart stopped,’ Harries told Woman’s Day in November 2016.

In thanks to Sydney’s Children’s Hospital where Leo was born, Harries attempted to raise $20,000 for the centre in 2019.
The action man entered the third annual Lifeguard Challenge to raise the funds.
He competed alongside other lifeguards from Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte against teams from Waverley, Randwick and Sutherland Shire.
