Bill Cobbs, a seasoned character actor with practically 200 film and tv credits, has died at age 90.
Cobbs’ dying was confirmed by his brother, Thomas G. Cobbs, who wrote on Fb: “We are saddened to share the passing of Invoice Cobbs. On Tuesday, June 25, Monthly bill passed away peacefully at his residence in California. A beloved lover, massive brother, uncle, surrogate father or mother, godfather and pal, Monthly bill not long ago and fortunately celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by cherished liked ones.”
“As a household we are comforted realizing Bill has uncovered peace and eternal relaxation with his Heavenly Father. We inquire for your prayers and encouragement in the course of this time,” the submit ongoing.
TMZ claimed that the trigger of dying was pneumonia.
Cobbs’ publicist did not reply quickly Wednesday to The Times’ request for comment.
Invoice Cobbs was born June 16, 1934, and lifted in Cleveland. He served in the Air Force for 8 years and labored at IBM and as a car salesman before transferring to New York at 36 to pursue performing, according to IMDb. He acted in numerous compact tv and theater roles prior to building his attribute film debut in the 1974 crime thriller “The Having of Pelham 1 Two Three.”
