Vintage guidelines for apologies involve:
1. Say you are sorry.
2. Say what you are apologizing for.
3. Really don’t make excuses.
Barbra Streisand, however, has never been just one to perform by the rule guide. Streisand 50 %-apologized to Melissa McCarthy on Instagram on April 30 for shade she did not know she was throwing. Particularly, just after McCarthy posted a image on April 29 with her close friend Adam Shankman as the two attended a gala to profit Center Theatre Team, Streisand publicly commented, “Give him my regards did you just take Ozempic?” (deficiency of punctuation hers). The comment has now, wisely, been deleted.
But Babs is not a single to allow anything go: “OMG — I went to Instagram to see the pics of the gorgeous flowers I’d received for my birthday! Under them was a photo of my buddy Melissa McCarthy who I sang with on my Encore album. She seemed amazing! I just needed to shell out her a compliment. I forgot the planet is reading!” AHAHAHAH. Sorry, it is unquestionably noteworthy that nowhere does Streisand address why, exactly, she felt it was correct to request if someone was on Ozempic (in fact, Ozempic is by no means stated at all). But since we’re all listed here talking about her, she could possibly as perfectly plug a venture. This is precisely what the world wide web is for.
