¡Dios mío!
One of the most controversial showbiz couples is getting their own reality show.
On Tuesday, Alec Baldwin, 66, and his wife Hilaria, 40, announced that they’ll have a TLC series featuring their 7 kids: Iliaria Catalina Irena, 19 months, Maria Lucia Victoria, 3, Eduardo Pao Lucas, 3, Romeo Alejjandro David, 5, Leonardo Angel Charles, 7, Rafael Thomas, 8, and Carmen Cabriele, 10.
Baldwin also has Ireland, 28, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
In an Instagram video announcing the show, Hiliaria said, “We have an announcement to make.”
The “30 Rock” star then said, “Good God, no,” which prompted Hilaria to say, “No, definitely not! We’re done having kids,” clarifying that their announcement was not another baby.
“We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” Alec said onscreen. “Home is the place we love to be most.”
The sneak peak wraps up with the parents and their seven “Baldwinitos” on the sofa, shouting, “We are the Baldwins!” for the cameras.
“And we’re coming to TLC!” Alec said, adding, “God help you all!”
Per TLC’s official description of “The Baldwins,” which is the show’s working title, “Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have been making headlines since they were married nearly 12 years ago. In this TLC follow-doc series, Alec and Hilaria invite viewers into the home they share with their seven growing kids. For the first time, they’re opening up their family lives and bringing everyone in to join in the non-stop love, laughter and drama.”
Alec frequently draws controversy for his skirmishes with the press – which has included punching photographers in the past.
He still also has a pending trial for an involuntary manslaughter charge stemming from the 2021 deadly shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western movie “Rust.”
Baldwin had previously been charged with the same crime by the Santa Fe district attorney in January 2022.
He pleaded not guilty, but the case fell apart and the charges were dropped in April that year after it was determined that further tests needed to be done on the weapon that fired the bullet.
He was then indicted by a grand jury in New Mexico and charged for a second time.
If convicted, Baldwin could face 18 months in prison.
Jury selection is expected to begin July 9.
For her part, Hilaria has been accused of faking her Spanish heritage, including her accent.
“The Baldwins” will premiere at an unspecified date in 2025 on TLC.
