A washing away of the sins in ‘Palm Royale’

“Palm Royale” is a stunning rags-to-riches journey that has Kristen Wiig portraying Maxine Simmons, a ray of sunshine with a reward for gab who cleverly weaves her way into the glitz and glam of Florida’s large society, circa 1969. “Visually, we tried using to not impose the digital camera as well considerably onto the actors,” claims cinematographer David Lanzenberg, who referenced the images of Slender Aarons to build a lively, interval-defining shade palette. “We shot most of the 1st two episodes with a one digital camera to consider to retain the focus on the overall performance and lighting to one digicam.
