MIAMI — A person was killed early Sunday and cruise line arrivals had been disrupted right after a 30-foot boat strike a ferry in close proximity to Miami, authorities explained.
One more guy was hospitalized in critical problem just after the boat hit the Fisher Island Ferry about 3:40 a.m. local time.
The person was pulled from the h2o by ferry workers, and he told them about his lacking friend just before he was taken to a hospital, the Miami Herald noted.
The missing person was later identified dead.
The accident happened close to Dodge Island, which has a row of cruise ship terminals.
Three cruise lines had to alter unloading treatments just after The U.S. Coastline Guard established up a short term protection zone that restricted website traffic in and out of PortMiami even though the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission investigates the crash, the newspaper claimed.
