Kia issued a remember Friday of its Telluride SUVs, warning proprietors of the 2020-2024 versions to park outdoors and absent from other cars and structures due to a fire possibility.
The car company issued a “park outside” remember for more than 462,869 vehicles. It claimed that the front energy seat motor on the impacted SUVs could overheat thanks to a caught electrical power seat slide knob.
Kia stated the jammed knob could consequence in a fire and maximize the danger of injuries.
House owners of affected autos will be notified by mail starting July 30 or they can simply call Kia’s shopper support line.
The company claimed dealers will set up a bracket for the electricity seat change again addresses and replace the seat slide knobs, cost-free of charge to entrepreneurs.
