A Florida guy will never be criminally billed immediately after mistaking his pool cleaner for an intruder and opening hearth on him with a superior-potential weapon, officers explained Monday.
Bradley and Jana Hocevar had been within their residence in Dunedin on June 15 when she noticed a determine on their pool deck about 9 p.m., officers stated.
Jana Hocevar, 43, known as 911, and Bradley Hocevar, 57, “retrieved a rifle from their bed room” and “fired two rounds” at Karl Polek, 33, in accordance to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s statement.
Polek is effective for Bay Spot Pool Techs and was servicing the couple’s pool. Polek was damage by exploding glass and shrapnel but didn’t suffer any daily life-threatening wounds, officials mentioned.
