Titan Sub Derbis Found: To view the wreckage of the Titanic, five billionaires of the world took to the sea in the Titan submarine on 18th June. However, they lost contact only 2 hours after landing in the sea. Coast Guards from America, Canada, France and Britain gathered to search for it. Meanwhile, on 22 June, it was announced that the submarine had exploded, killing all five people on board. On the other hand, the US Coast Guard reported on Wednesday (June 28) that they have possibly recovered human remains from the wreckage of the Titan submarine.
The US Coast Guard informed that it is bringing the human remains back to the US. The wreckage of the Titan submersible was brought back to land on Wednesday (June 28). The Coast Guard said it recovered debris and evidence from the seabed. Human remains are also included in this debris. Meanwhile, US Coast Guard Chief Captain Jason Neubauer said in a statement that he is grateful for all the international and interagency support in recovering this much-needed evidence.
Received evidence will help
Captain Jason Neubauer, head of the US Coast Guard, said evidence from the wreckage would help international investigators gather a variety of information. Which will help to understand many reasons in the future. Also, because of such evidence, it will help to ensure that such tragedies do not happen again. An unmanned ROV was sent by the Canadian ship Horizon Arctic to search for submarine fragments on the sea floor near the wreck of the Titanic. The remains of the billionaires killed in the accident were found in a very bad condition.
At the same time, Horizon Arctic Company spokesman Jeff Mahoney said the Pelagic Research Services team is still on the mission. As such, Titan cannot comment on ongoing investigations. He said that he is working around the clock for ten days amid the physical and mental challenges of this operation.
Debris found after 488 meters away
The Coast Guard said last week that the wreckage of the Titan was located on the ocean floor about 12,500 feet (3,810 meters) underwater and about 1,600 feet (488 meters) from the Titanic. The Coast Guard is investigating why the submarine exploded during landing on June 18. Authorities announced on June 22 that the submarine had exploded, killing all five people on board. The Coast Guard formed a Marine Board of Inquiry to investigate the explosion.
