Tom Brady shared his condolences with the loved ones of former Patriots teammate Ryan Mallett on Wednesday, one day just after the 35-calendar year-outdated died in a drowning incident in Florida.
Mallett played for a few seasons, from 2011–13, as Brady’s backup quarterback in New England. He appeared in four games in 2012.
Brady joined the refrain of sympathy from athletes who played with Mallett in the course of his occupation by publishing a photo of the two quarterbacks with each other on a practice subject on his Instagram story.
“We missing a good male. Thank you for everything Ryan,” Brady wrote. “Praying for the Mallett household and all their beloved types tonight.”

Mallett drowned in the waters off Gulf Shore Drive in Destin, Fla, in accordance to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Business office. Lifeguards brought him out of the drinking water and performed stay-conserving steps until eventually he was transported from the beach front to a healthcare facility, exactly where he was pronounced dead.
Mallett performed for the Patriots, Texans and Ravens during his eight-year NFL profession. He played in 21 NFL games with eight job begins, compiling nine landing passes and 10 interceptions. He retired from the NFL immediately after the 2017 season.
Mallett performed college or university soccer at Michigan and Arkansas.
Considering that his participating in job ended, Mallett began coaching, to start with as an assistant at Mountain Residence Higher University in Arkansas. In 2022, he was named head coach at White Hall Superior in Arkansas.
