X Factor star Christopher Maloney has sparked concern as he begged for help after having surgery on his eyelids.
The singer, 45, who rose to fame on the show back in 2012, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of snaps post operation.
Christopher admitted: ‘I think I’ve gone too far’ as he showed off his bruised and bloodied face, with stitches around his upper and lower eyelids.
Chris, who jetted abroad for the surgery, was barely to able his swollen eyes and blood had dried all over his face.
He wrote: ‘Think I’ve gone too far. Need a hug’. Chris then hashtagged body dysmorphia.

Body dysmorphia is a mental health condition where you spend a lot of time worrying about your appearance.

Chris’ followers took to the comment section to express their concern, with EastEnders star John Partridge typing: ‘Chris I hope you are ok? You’ve got my number… use it! x’.
‘Chris as your friend of 10 years I’m asking you to please stop you’re beautiful you don’t need anymore xx’, another added.
‘Chris! Please please stop doing this to yourself. You are thoroughly beautiful inside and out. You really don’t need to do this to yourself x,’ wrote a different follower.
It’s not the first time Christopher has been under the knife, with the star spending an estimated £100,000 on cosmetic surgery in total.
Back in 2017, the singer flew to Poland with Danniella Westbrook for a nose job, eye lift and hair transplant.
When he was back in the UK, he woke up to discover that he could not feel one of his legs and had a suspected blood clot.

‘I was called Mr Potato Head, that I was ugly, that I had a big nose and it just affected me so much and at the end of the final, I did have a breakdown.’
