Britney Spears was thrilled to lend her discography to Broadway — with a single specific caveat.
“It was in fact Britney who approached us and said, ‘We’d like to have a present based on my audio, and particularly not a bio-musical,’” producer Hunter Arnold told Wide variety at Once On a 1 Much more Time’s opening evening on Thursday, June 22, referring to the 41-yr-outdated pop star. “The unique idea came from thoughts introduced forth by her: She loves fairy tales, princesses [and] storybooks.
