The homecoming of the year is going down in Knoxville.
Country superstar Morgan Wallen just announced he’s returning to the city he grew up in for a one-night-only concert at Neyland Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 22 with special guests ERNEST and Hardy as part of his ongoing, international ‘One Night At At Time Tour.’
“I’ve had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play to my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee,” Wallen shared in a press release.
In addition to this special gig, Wallen has 12 other shows remaining on his 2024 tour schedule including stops at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium (July 25-26), Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium (Aug. 1-2) and Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium (Aug. 8-9).
He’ll close the year with concerts at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium (Oct. 4) and Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium (Oct. 18-19).
As of now, tickets are available for all upcoming ‘One Night At A Time Tour’ dates.
Fans can purchase tickets for the show of their choosing on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the newly announced Sept. 22 Neyland Stadium concert is Wednesday, July 17.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Morgan Wallen controversy
While Wallen is a bona fide star, his ascent to the top hasn’t come without a few hiccups.
In fact, his Wikipedia has a whole section labeled “Controversies.”
Just a few of his most notable scandals include an arrest for public intoxication and disorderly conduct (May 2020), partying maskless in a bar at the height of the pandemic (October 2020) and using racial slurs on camera (February 2021).
Following his racist incident, Wallen donated $300,000 to the Black Music Action Coalition. He was also banned from a number of award shows.
Most recently, Wallen “was charged with three felony counts by the Metro Nashville Police Department after a chair he allegedly threw off the roof of the six-story Chief’s bar landed on Broadway near two police officers,” according to the NY Post.
