“The Great British Bake Off” contestant Dawn Hollyoak has died at 61.
Her family produced the heartbreaking announcement on Hollyoak’s Instagram on Friday, sharing the news “with a major heart.”
“Not only a splendidly gifted baker but 1st and foremost an remarkable mom, grandmother, wife and pal,” the statement reads. “Dawn handed away peacefully surrounded by her family. We will miss out on her endlessly, but guarantee to continue on her baking legacy!”
A trigger of demise has not been disclosed.
Hollyoak, a former IT manager who competed on the baking present in 2022, was hailed as a “beautiful soul” and “a joy” by buddies, household and followers.
