Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Vivienne seems to have subtly dropped “Pitt” from her last name.
In the Playbill for “The Outsiders: A New Musical,” the 15-year-old was credited for her role as assistant and co-producer as “Vivienne Jolie,” rather than the hyphenated “Vivienne Jolie-Pitt,” People reported.
It’s unclear if Vivienne has legally changed her name — though she’s not the first of the Jolie-Pitt children to appear to drop their father’s surname. Jolie, for her part, is a producer on the show.
The couple’s eldest daughter Zahara, 19, introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” when joining the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College, according to a video shared by Essence in November.
Some eagle-eyed fans also noticed that, in a video shared by choreographer Lil Kelaan Carter, their 18-year-old daughter Shihloh was tagged — and the name on the private account is simply “Shi Jolie.”
The subtle name changes come amidst years of reports that Pitt, 60, has a fraught relationship with his six children he shares with Jolie, 48 — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.
Pax, 20, once went on a social media rant against Pitt, bashing his estranged father on Father’s Day 2020.
“Happy Father’s Day to this world class a–hole!! You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person,” the caption said, per the Daily Mail. “You have no consideration or empathy toward your 4 youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.”
“You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday,” the then-16 year old reportedly continued. “So, Happy Father’s Day, you f–king awful human being!!!”
Jolie first filed for divorce and sole physical custody of their children in 2016.
Earlier this month, Tony Webb, a former guard for the couple, alleged in court documents that Jolie was “overheard” telling the kids to avoid Pitt during custody visits by security staffers.
Additionally, per docs obtained by Page Six, Jolie’s legal team claimed that Pitt’s physical abuse started well before the infamous 2016 plane incident.
“While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him,” her team said in the docs.
More recently, it’s been revealed that Jolie must turn over all the non-disclosure agreements she has signed in the past eight years as part of her ongoing legal battle with Pitt over their French winery.
She must produce the documents within the next month, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled. The exes have been feuding over ownership of their $500 million winery, Château Miraval, for years.
The pair first met in 2004 on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” when Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston, 55. They officially got together in 2005, married in 2014, and separated in 2016, with their divorce becoming official in 2019.
