The populist prime minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, was injured in a capturing Wednesday.
The country’s president confirmed the assault soon following the news broke.
“Totally stunned by today’s brutal and reckless attack on #Slovakia’s Primary Minister Robert Fico, which I condemn in strongest achievable conditions,” Zuzana Čaputová said in a concept on X. “I would like him good deal of strength in this vital second and early recovery. My views are also with his family and shut types,” she included.
Lubos Blaha, vice-chairman of the central European country’s parliament, said that Fico was shot and hurt, in accordance to Slovak information agency TASR.
