The Sherpas of Nepal have made history once again. Again with her own courage the mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa has hoisted the flag on Mount Everest. Where the heights of the mountains are a dream. There, Kami Rita Sherpa has completed her trek for the 28th time, and this time her 29th daring ascent of Mount Everest. Sherpa has broken his own record by climbing Everest this time.
The Sherpa set a record and became the first person to climb the world’s highest peak for the 29th time. Nepal mountain guide Kami Rita Sherpa is 54 years old. He has been climbing mountains since 1994. Besides, along with Mount Everest, they have hoisted their flags on the highest peaks of the Himalayas.
Sherpa’s response
Before going on his 29th climb Sherpa said I am going to climb Sagarmatha. I have no other purpose. I just wanted to keep the mountaineering business going. I’m not climbing for the record. He further told that this year I have set out to climb Sagarmatha for the 29th time. I have no plans to climb Sagarmatha any fixed number of times.
First climbing experience
A 54-year-old mountaineer from Thame village in Nepal has reached the 8,848.86 meter peak. And has created a new record in the history of Himalayan mountaineering. Sherpa first climbed the dangerous peak in 1994 at the age of 24. After which his name came in the list of world’s best mountaineers guide. Also they have guided foreign mountaineers to climb the highest mountain in the world almost every season.
Apart from his historic number on Everest, the seasoned guide has also climbed several Himalayan giants including K-2, Lhotse, Manaslu and Cho Oyu. Eight of the 14 highest peaks in the world are in Nepal.
