Drew Carey understands he’s the appropriate male for the occupation.
The television host, 65, discussed his future on “The Rate Is Right” all through an interview with Amusement Tonight at the CBS Slide Timetable Celebration on Thursday.
“I’m not going wherever,” he claimed.
Carey has been hosting the beloved sport exhibit considering that he took in excess of for the late Bob Barker in 2007.
“I assume Bob produced a blunder by retiring,” Carey additional. “I’m not gonna make that similar slip-up.”

Barker died in August 2023 at the age of 99 immediately after battling Alzheimer’s condition.

Just after Barker’s tragic demise, Carey paid out tribute to the late Tv host in a statement that he shared on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
“Very sad day for the Price tag Is Suitable family, and animal fans all above the environment,” Carey wrote. “There has not been a day on set that I didn’t think of Bob Barker and thank him. I will have his memory in my heart without end. #RIPBobBarker We like you.”
Carey also raved about Barker just one thirty day period soon after his demise in an interview with ET on the “Price Is Right” set.
“He was so great at this,” Carey explained in September 2023. “He was so very good at relating to individuals and receiving them to be peaceful and be them selves. You look at his demeanor and his mindset. He by no means seemed pressured.”
