Nick Viall and his spouse, Natalie Pleasure, were being so thrilled to rejoice their recent marriage ceremony with a tropical honeymoon getaway in Turks and Caicos till a “nightmare” travel expertise ruined their ideas.
“We’re on no sleep [and] we introduced Natalie’s mother with us to babysit for our honeymoon with the purpose being, logistically, as a great deal as we spend all of our time with our daughter and we enjoy each individual minute of it, but it’s our honeymoon,” Viall, 43, claimed in the course of the Thursday, Could 2, episode of his “Viall Files” podcast. “We have been hoping to link and have some excellent time and we’re so blessed to have Natalie’s mother [come with us.]”
Viall, Pleasure, 25, and her mother traveled with child River Rose, 3 months, to Turks and Caicos. The moment their airplane landed and they made their way to the customs checkpoint, their itinerary strike a snag.
“We have a awesome flight, River’s high-quality [and] we get to Turks and Caicos. [Our] honeymoon’s about to start out,” the former Bachelor recalled. “We go as a household to customs check out-in or regardless of what [and] go to the agent, hand them all our passports.”
Immediately after Joy’s mom got her journey documents stamped, she moved on to get the group’s luggage. The newlyweds, even so, stayed powering, ready for their have passports to get stamped.
“The agent stamps the passport, we really do not know which passport at this issue,” he mentioned. “[They are] about to hand it back, seems to be at it and goes, ‘There’s a page torn here.’ And we’re like, ‘Huh? I never know.’”

We’re gonna get a lecture of some kind and evidently we’re gonna be great,’” Viall included, revealing they were then informed that they were being sent back to the United States. “[The agent] appeared at me and was like, ‘Are you even now likely to go to your resort?’ I’m like, ‘I’m not leaving my wife.’”
He ongoing, “Natalie’s crying and I appear quiet but I’m radiating with anxiousness. I’m telling myself, ‘You’re two days on the f—king task. Time to be a partner. It’s your time to stage up and keep calm. Everything’s going to be fine.’”
Viall more stressed that “in that moment” the condition “felt like a nightmare.”
“We booked these nonrefundable [tickets]. We went for it,” he extra, breaking down in tears. “We decided to make an investment decision in our honeymoon and … it was so chaotic, [but] I bought so lots of opportunities to simply call Natalie my wife and that was great. I was like, ‘I’m not leaving my wife,’ ‘I bought my wife listed here.’”
Viall, Joy and their relatives customers ended up rebooked on “the future flight out.” Even so, after a 6-hour aircraft delay, the flight was canceled pursuing a upkeep concern. Delta Airways set the group up at a nearby lodge for a single night.
“It could have been considerably even worse [and] we had a single night time,” Viall claimed, gushing in excess of their honeymoon supper at the airport hotel restaurant.
