Outages and disruptions on emergency 911 simply call lines have been documented across numerous states on Wednesday.
The outages started late on Wednesday evening throughout all of South Dakota and in elements of Nebraska, Nevada and Texas.
The South Dakota Division of Public Security, Las Vegas Police, Nebraska’s Douglas County and the metropolis of Del Rio in Texas all documented difficulties for those attempting to make contact with law enforcement, fire and ambulance companies.
Officials said that products and services have now been restored in some of these spots, but no cause of the outages has yet been identified.
