A major accident took place in China on Wednesday night. A large explosion occurred in a restaurant in Yinchuan province here. 31 people died in this accident. Photos published in the Chinese media give an idea of how horrific the explosion was. After the explosion, a fierce fire broke out in the restaurant and nearby shops. It is not yet clear what caused the fire in the restaurant. The Chinese administration has started an investigation into the cause of the fire. So far, 38 people have been rescued.
The explosion occurred ahead of the Dragon Boat Festival in a Muslim-majority area. The area where the incident took place has a large Muslim population. Chinese President Xi Jinping has also expressed grief over the incident and requested to provide first aid to the injured.

Terrorist Sajid Mir is wanted in connection with the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) carried out the attacks by sending terrorists to Mumbai. Meanwhile, terrorists targeted hotels, cafes and railway stations. About 170 people were killed.
