Travis and Jason Kelce finished their live “New Heights” podcast taping at the College of Cincinnati on a celebratory note.
The brothers had been surprised with an honorary higher education graduation ceremony at the Fifth 3rd Arena on Thursday, April 11, as neither Travis, 34, nor Jason, 36, ended up able to walk at their respective UC graduation ceremonies. They had been joined on stage by their mothers and fathers, Donna and Ed Kelce.
Travis was not permitted to wander at his college or university graduation ceremony in 2012 right after he was not able to return a football helmet the university claimed he misplaced. He was offered with the missing helmet on Thursday, letting him to complete his school journey. (Equally Travis and Jason performed soccer through their time at UC.)
“Travis and Jason Kelce equally gained College of Cincinnati degrees but could not get component in graduation ceremonies. UC is fixing that tonight,” athletics radio personality Dan Hoard captioned an X pic of the pair sporting graduation caps and robes on phase.
Hoard also shared an X video of Travis accepting his diploma “Travis Kelce style” by chugging a consume just before shaking palms with a UC professor.
In far more social media footage from the podcast taping, Travis was asked to share a number of “words of wisdom” as an honorary college student commencement speaker. “Before we make this point official, I believed I’d give you guys some information: You gotta struggle for your right to celebration!” he shouted, quoting his go-to Beastie Boys track “Fight For Your Ideal.”

The UC Bearcats’ official X site posted many pictures of the distinctive instant on Thursday, writing, “A surprise commencement we’ll hardly ever forget about. Congratulations to Travis and Jason on (ultimately) finding up those people diplomas! 🤣.”
Travis and Jason’s unique “New Heights” episode was initially set to be filmed outside the house at the football stadium but was moved indoors owing to inclement climate. In addition to becoming supported by their parents at the function, Jason’s spouse, Kylie Kelce, was also in attendance at the taping. Upon becoming demonstrated on camera, Kylie, 32, hilariously hid guiding a printout of Jason’s face.
Donna, for her section, supported her sons by carrying her Chiefs/Philadelphia Eagles jersey, as properly as brought a bouquet of balloons that includes balloon variations of their soccer jerseys. “Mama Kelce wouldn’t miss her boys’ very first arena clearly show ❤️💚,” the “New Heights” X account captioned a pic of Donna on Thursday.
Travis’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, did not surface to sign up for the Kelce spouse and children at the “New Heights” taping, but the Kansas Town Chiefs star gave the pop star a special shout-out. He was noticed dancing alongside to her strike track “Shake It Off” in social media footage from the celebration, contacting the 1989 keep track of “one of my favorites.”
