Alison Sweeney is not ruling out extra motion pictures from The Marriage Veil franchise or operating with Lacey Chabert and Autumn Reeser on a holiday break task.
“I’ve read so lots of occasions that there was a dialogue about ‘there is much more to come,’ and I would adore to be a aspect of it,” Sweeney, 47, exclusively told Us Weekly of the future of The Marriage Veil videos.
Sweeney — who most recently starred in Hallmark Mystery’s A single Terrible Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery — observed that all 3 actresses are on board for extra adventures.
“We surely as actors pitched Hallmark, like, our tips for what could go next,” Sweeney described. “I’m generally hopeful that there could be more.”
In 2022, Chabert, 41, and Reeser, 43, costarred with Sweeney in 3 Wedding ceremony Veil rom-coms, participating in BFFs Avery, Emma and Tracy, respectively, as they navigate their lives as brides to be. The subsequent calendar year, they returned for three new motion pictures, this time in distinct phases of their associations.
When questioned regardless of whether the trio would reunite for a holiday Hallmark attribute, Sweeney informed Us, “Oh, my gosh, how enjoyable would that be? I would like that.”
Though yet another installment of The Wedding day Veil franchise has not been greenlit yet, Sweeney is not resting on her laurels. The actress not too long ago starred in her fourth Hannah Swensen Mysteries film right after reviving her baker-turned-amateur-sleuth character, Hannah Swensen, in 2021 from the Murder, She Baked franchise.
The actress also explained to Us that she’s in the planning stages for her future Christmas movie with the network. “The previous couple [ones] I did had been a little extra on the fantastical, magical Xmas point,” Sweeney discussed. “My idea for the up coming just one — I certainly want to do a a great deal a lot more comedic Xmas film.”
She pointed to Chabert’s 2022 hit Haul Out the Holly and its 2023 sequel, Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up, as inspiration.
These had been “hilarious and so a lot enjoyment,” Sweeney stated of Chabert’s initiatives, confessing, “I was a small jealous. I was like, ‘I have to make that take place.’”
On the other aspect of the spectrum, Sweeney is playing around the notion of a “realistic loved ones Xmas motion picture.” She observed, “[I want] a thing a lot more in line with what people truly offer with, a sort of, not dark comedy, but rye, sincere loved ones working experience at Xmas.”
Sweeney teased: “I have some strategies and some pitches to Hallmark up in the air about producing that come about. We’ll see.”
