Married At First Sight’s Jack Dunkley has sensationally claimed that the whole cast were aware that Lauren Dunn had a ‘secret boyfriend’ in Bali.
The Gold Coast based personal trainer, 34, delivered the bombshell during a rogue interview with Daily Mail Australia ahead of Sunday night’s reunion dinner party.
‘It was on camera, Lauren and Jono turned around and admitted to the group that they were in an arrangement throughout the entire experiment,’ Jack spilled.
In his account, Jack described the ripple of whispers about Sara Mesa, who was rumoured to be in an arrangement with Tim Calwell to help her reputation, an assertion that he claims was backed by multiple cast members.
But it was Lauren and Jono’s admission that stole the spotlight.

‘Lauren and Jono apologised to me for being a hypocrite and going so hard at me throughout the entirety of the show,’ Jack stated, voicing a storyline that viewers were never privy to.
The plot thickened as Jack spoke of Lauren’s admission of a fling in Bali just before her on-screen nuptials.
‘Lauren did confirm that she was having a bit of a fling with a guy in Bali one week before she married Jono, and she wished to pursue him after the show,’ Jack said.

Meanwhile, Lauren’s pre-show love life has been a hot topic in the tabloids, with New Idea alleging she had fallen for the ‘perfect’ man in Bali, a fling she’d disclosed to friends and even to Jonathan during the show’s filming.
‘In the beginning, Jono thought he could win Lauren over. But it seems like he had no chance if she was already hung up on somebody on the outside,’ the magazine opined.
However, Lauren’s stance remains firm, as she denounces the swirling rumors as unfounded.

‘You’ve got to give it to some of these publications, they are very good with their creative writing. It’s just a bit ridiculous. I didn’t have a Bali boyfriend,’ she staunchly told Daily Mail Australia.
Despite this, she acknowledged the romance in Bali but felt that her transparency had been used against her.
‘I told Jono at the very beginning of the experiment… I feel like me being honest about that has come back to blow up in my face later down the line,’ Lauren lamented, finding herself at the center of a narrative she never expected.
Married At First Sight continues on Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
